What’s Up?

Our new project is being prepared… 🙂

“The Importance of Water in Times of Climate Change” is our sequel to “The Importance of Forests of Climate Change”. Our new partner school is located in Lisbon, Portugal.

From 13 October 2024 until 19 October 2024 there will be a short-term exchange of pupils, i.e. a meeting in Lisbon.

Our Portuguese partners will be our guests from 01 December 2024 until 07 December 2024.

♦ Activity-wise…:

Since we would like to remain cutting-edge in what we do, we are planning a gadget which analyses characteristic features of the river nearby our school. The water in the Elz river is something we have ignored for way too long – that has to change now!

Ideally, this “AquaSystem” measures temperature, speed of flow and intensity of light underwater (lumen). The components have already been ordered…

We are almost done:

Erasmus+ will be with them – we are playing to create “seedbombs” with the students.

Our new Ts should be ready soon, as well. 🙂

AND…

The trip to our partners in Slowakia

has just been planned:

From 19 March 2023 until 25 March 2023

we will be abroad again – after three years of pandemic!

Corona virus.

This virus has made it impossible for us to meet our friends from England and Italy in Mestre. From 15 until 21 March 2020 we planned to have the final meeting there with again a lot of fun and lasting experiences. We had made any preparations and seemingly taken any precautions – however, the virus has taken us aback. And we learnt one thing: You can hardly prepare for a pandemic.

Erasmus+ is bounderless and limitless – in our thoughts we are with our friends in England and Italy who have been suffering from the harsh outcomes of this virus.

Together we can get over this unparalleled crisis!
