In the very first week in December 2024 we welcomed our Portuguese guests. Together we worked on our common project “The Importance of Water in Times of Climate Change”. We did an excursion to the river Elz, were shown how water is turned into proper tap water, did a very nice to the Black Forest, went to the University of Freiburg (doing some profound research on water – thanks to the Department of Hydrology!) enjoyed a nice and neat stroll trough Freiburg – including a somewhat breath-taking walk on top of the bell tower! – and, of course, spent a lot of time together talking, having fun and contemplating.
